The following section briefly talks about the prerequisites and requirements for admission to the B.Tech and B.E Program

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Having an overall aggregate of 50%.

Selection Criteria

Admissions are based on merit followed by TNEA Counselling. 

Admission Process

Candidates who want to get admission to BE, B.Tech course shall apply for TNEA through the official website. Application for TNEA should be filled online through the website of Anna University.

How to Apply

• Go to the official website of TNEA
• Register yourself with valid email id, phone number, and other details
• Make the payment of the application fee
• Hit the button and submit the form
• Get a hard copy of the application form
• Enclose all the mandatory documents with the form
• Send the form through the post or you may submit it in person

• Mark list of Class 10th & HSC
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Transfer Certificate
• Hall Ticket of 10+2
• Permanent Community Certificate
• Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
• Srilankan refugee Certificate (if applicable)

IFET College of Engineering offers ME with 2 specializations. This PG level program duration is two years.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students can get admission to the M.Tech program if they have a relevant degree in B.E/B.Tech or equivalent with 60% aggregate.
• The merit list is prepared to give 50% weightage to aggregate marks of B.E./B.Tech./equivalent degree and 50% weightage to Institute’s test/interview for all candidates who apply and qualify for a particular discipline. 

Selection Criteria

• Admissions are entrance based followed by TANCA Counselling.
• If any seats remain vacant students who are GATE qualified would be given preference.

Admission Process

GATE 2023

GATE is required by those students who are willing to apply for a master’s or Ph.D. program. The section below throws light upon the registration and requirement of documents.

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

How to Apply?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.

Selection Criteria

Candidates are admitted to the MBA program based on the applicant’s scores in TANCET.

Admission Process

TANCET Application Process

Students appearing for TANCET must have at least 50% in bachelor’s. The application fee of INR 500 (for general category) and INR 250 (for reserved category) must be paid before submitting the application.

How to Apply?

• Students can log in to Anna University and register online for TANCET.
• Registration requires personal details along with contAgni College of Technology details for generating a new user id and password.
• Go to the TANCET application form and log in using the credentials generated during registration.
• Fill in the required details and upload a recent photograph.
• Submit the application with the fee and keep a printout for future reference.

How to register?

• Candidates have to register through online mode at the Web portal.
• They must enter an active mobile number and email ID.
• Enter relevant personal and educational details 
• Choose the save / submit button.
• Preview the forms and make changes, if required.
• Finally, click submit and save button to make an online fee payment.

Documents Required

Candidates have to upload scanned images of the following given documents while registering for TANCA counseling: 

• Mark sheets of X, XII or Diploma (3 years) Certificate
• Qualifying Degree certificate, provisional certificate and mark sheets of all semesters or Consolidated mark sheet. 
• Transfer certificate from the institution last studied
• Valid GATE score card and TANCET hall ticket for GATE qualified category
• Certificate of Disability
• Nativity Certificate only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate. (if applicable)
• Copy of identification certificate obtained from the Head Quarters Tahsildar or Visa, Passport and letter registered in Police Station (For Srilankan Refugee candidates)
• Experience Certificate (if applicable)
