The IFET College of Engineering [IFET], founded in the year 1998, is a platinum category college located in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. The NAAC accredited college is set up by eminent Industrialists, NRIs, and Indo French Educational Trust (IFET). Selection criteria
- The admission to courses like BE/B.Tech based on the rank scored in the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling conducted by Anna University.
- For MBA admission, the candidate must score a valid rank in TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) or CET (Consortium Entrance Test) qualifying examination.

IFET College of Engineering Scholarships
The following are the scholarships offered to the students under various categories.
- The IFET offers merit-based scholarships for State board and CBSE board students. The students must score certain marks in 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- For 270 & above marks: 1 lakh rupees
- For 255 & above marks: 60 thousand rupees
- For 244 & above marks: 40 thousand rupees
- For management seats.
- For score cut-off 150 or above, reduction in fees (equal to counselling fees) in addition to the scholarship amount.

- The quality of teaching is very nice, and their method is very experienced. They conduct exams as a semester; they conduct two semesters per year.
