IERT B.Tech Electrical Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

In 2013, the reviewer joined IERT, Allahabad, for a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering after a good rank in the UPSEE entrance exam. The college's faculty comprises experienced and well-qualified members, mostly holding Ph.D. or M.Tech degrees, who support students academically and in extracurricular activities. The B.Tech program is cost-effective, with a total fee of ₹1,68,000 over four years. A fee-waiver is available for 2-3 seats per branch for economically weaker sections. The UP government provides a scholarship of approximately ₹56,000 annually, totaling ₹2,24,000 over the course. Additional scholarships for specific categories can also be availed, albeit one at a time. Placement opportunities at IERT show a mixed scenario with a highest package of 30 LPA and an average of 5-6 LPA. About 60-80% of students secure placements, especially in companies like Infosys, L&T, TCS, Wipro, and Adani. The total annual fee is around 63,000 INR, inclusive of hostel charges (25,000 INR annually) and mess fees (4,000 INR monthly).
