JVIT - Jnana Vikas Institute of Technology Admission 2024: Cutoff, Dates, Eligibility, Selection

At the undergraduate level, Jnana Vikas Institute of Technology offers BE in 5 specializations. Lateral Entry into 2nd year is also offered by the institute.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks taken together in subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Electronics/Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science to be eligible. Those with a Diploma in Engineering and 45% marks are eligible to apply for Lateral Entry admission.

Admission to BE is done on the basis of valid score in KCET or COMEDK UGET conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Association). Lateral Entry admission is based on marks obtained in last qualifying exam.

• All BE aspirants should have studied and passed English at 10+2 level.
• Management admissions are offered to both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka states. In this case, admissions are subject to satisfaction of eligibility criteria and aptitude.
• As per KEA rules, KCET ranks shall be derived by taking marks in equal proportions in Qualifying Examination (QE) and CET in PCM subjects.
• There are no minimum marks prescribed for CET and COMEDK.

MBA offered at JVIT is a two-year full-time degree program affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The course is approved by AICTE and offered in three specializations.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks to be eligible for admission. Admission is done through counselling or directly by the institute based on scores obtained in Karnataka PGCET or KMAT.
