KVM College of Engineering and Information Technology, Alappuzha was established in 2001. The college is run under the K. Velayudhan Memorial Trust. The college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college offers Master of Computer of Application (M.C.A.), Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in many specializations. The College has started B.Tech - Mechanical, Civil, EEE, ECE and CSE courses from the academic year 2012-13 The College has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell to ensure that students are sought after in the professional world outside the campus
