Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science Admission 2024: Cutoff, Fees Structure, Eligibility

Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science offers various B. Tech courses. The admission will be on the basis of entrance test. Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech program should have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana with Mathematics and Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent to it.

The four year B.Tech degree programs are offered in following specialization:

For taking admission in B. Tech courses candidate needs to appear for TS EAMCET. TS EAMCET is a state level entrance exam conducted every year by Telangana State for admission in engineering, agriculture, and medical courses. To appear for TS EAMCET candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as optional subjects and 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category).

TS EAMCET was conducted on May 12.  The first round of counselling is scheduled to be conducted from June 12 to June 21 where students can choose courses according to their preference.

Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science offers various M.Tech degree programs. The admission will be on the basis of entrance test. The two year M.Tech degree programs are offered in following specialization:

• Structural & Construction Engineering
• Design Engineering
• Digital Communications
• Software Engineering
• VLSI & Embedded Systems
• Power Electronics

For admission in M. Tech courses candidate needs to qualify for one of these exams GATE/GPAT/PGECET exam.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an entrance exam for admission in M.Tech and PH.D courses in India. GATE was conducted by IIT Roorkee on various dates in February.

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test(GPAT) was conducted on January 28 – 29.

TS PGECET (Telangana Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) is a state level entrance exam conducted for admission in PG courses. PGECET was conducted from May 29 to June 1.

The final selection will be based on the score obtained in these examinations.

Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science offers MBA degree. MBA is of two years and the basic eligibility criteria is to have a bachelor’s degree (Excluding BFA & BOI) with 40% aggregate marks and qualified in TSICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test).

TS-ICET is a state level entrance test for admission in MBA courses and was held on May 18.

The minimum qualifying marks for TSICET is 25% and for SC/ST no minimum qualifying marks are prescribed. Admission to MBA program will depend on the rank scored in TSICET exam.
