Kalpataru Institute of Technology offers the B.E. course at the UG level in 5 specializations, with a total intake of 480 students.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 with 45% marks, having taken up Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Biology / Chemistry / Electronics / Computer Science as an optional subject are eligible to apply for the B.E. course. Candidates who have completed their Diploma in engineering are eligible to apply for the second year of the B.E. course through lateral entry.

Selection to the first year of the B.E. course will be done on the basis of valid score in KCET , followed by the counselling process, which will be conducted by the KEA. Lateral entry seats will be allotted on the basis of KEA DCET scores through the counselling process conducted by DTE, Karnataka.

Kalpataru Institute of Technology offers the M.Tech course at the postgraduate level, under 3 specializations, with a total intake of 54 students, with 18 students per specialization.

Candidates will be considered as eligible for the M.Tech course if they have passed B.E. / B.Tech degree with 50% marks in a relevant discipline to which they have applied to.

M.Tech seats will be allotted on the basis scores obtained in Karnataka PGCET, through the counselling process conducted by the KEA.

• Candidates should be a domiciled resident of the state of Karnataka to be eligible to apply for the KCET entrance examination.
• Candidate should have passed the B.E. / B.Tech degree from a recognized institution located in Karnataka.

Kalpataru Institute of Technology offers the MBA course at the postgraduate level, with an intake of 60 students.

Candidates can apply to the MBA course if they are holders of any Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration, with 50% marks.

MBA seats at KIT will be allotted on the basis of scores obtained in the CMAT.
