MVJ College of Engineering (MVJCE) is considered among the top-notch Engineering colleges of Bangalore. Around 22000 engineers have graduated from the college till date. 

Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technical University (VTU), it is the first one to offer Aeronautical Engineering at both UG and PG level under the university.

BE is offered in 9 specializations which are tabulated below along with the first year fee.

Eligibility – Candidates seeking admission must possess secondary and higher secondary certificate with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer Science and English as one of the languages of study.

• For admissions to BE course, selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit list prepared by the institute based on KCET score.
• Apart form KCET, the institute also accepts JEE Main, AMPCK score.
• Those who have names in the merit list are further called for counseling process.

Key Points:

• It is mandatory for applicants to appear in the online test held in the campus for the course.
• Candidates who have appeared in JEE-Main need not to appear for KCET

There are 5 specializations in the course namely Computer Science and Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering and Digital Electronics & Communication Engineering.

The minimum requirement for M.Tech course is a B.Tech/BE degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of reserved category) from an AICTE/ UGC approved institution recognized by the Government of Karnataka as equivalent thereto.

• The college selects caniddates based on the score obtained in the PGCET/GATE exam.

Candidates have opt dual specializations in the second year of the course which includes Finance & Marketing, Marketing & HR and HR & Finance.

For admission to MBA, candidates must possess the following eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates) in all subjects from a recognized univeristy.
• A valid score in CAT/XAT/MAT/KMAT/PGCET.

• The institute considers the score in any one of the following exams for selecting students: CAT/XAT/MAT/KMAT/PGCET
• Those who have a good score are selected for admission.
• Furthermore, the slected students are called to take part in the counseling round.

MVJ College of Engineering offers scholarships to meritorius students who have displayed excellent academic record at qualifying examination from class 10^th onwards. The scholarship will be granted in the form of Annual Tution Waiver and College Fees Waiver. Following are the scholarships awarded by the college:

• Under Graduate Scholarship – This scholarship is awarded on the basis of rank obtained in the Karnataka CET/JEE examination.
