- Laboratories- The institute has equipped laboratories for each department with all necessary facilities which are required for an excellent practical environment.
- Library- The library has a fully computerized library with a variety of books to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students. - Faculty at msit, is well educated and best at their job of teaching, almost all the teachers are experience holders, teaching at msit.
- Best thing about college is that it has best location comparitively to all college in GGSIPU

- My course is B.Tech IT, but they teach us useless crap that does not help us. However, they still teach it for the sake of the degree.
- There are placement opportunities in the college, but the packages provided by the college are so much less because they do not include reputed companies. However, our college placement cell provides total support and guidance to the students in final placements, but the packages are very poor.

You have to opt PCM in your 11th and 12th and then have to give JEE mains and qualify it..around 90 marks or 91 percentile is enough to get you into this college with cse branch. JEE mains are held every year in January and April..and its notice comes around November or December.nta.nic.in All the reserved category get their benefits in this college. The MSIT come under GGSIPU so you have to fill out their counselling after the final result of JEE

I got admission here through IPU counselling under the general category after clearing the JEE mains exam. They also provide the management quota facility to get admission here on the basis of 12th marks. The management quota fee is a bit higher than the other students who got admission through IPU counselling.

The admission process is through the IPU counselling round, you just have to check the IPU website on a daily basis The eligibility of the course is that you have the pcm in the 12th write the exam of the jee mains and get the colleges according to the cut which varies year to year. My reservation is for defense personal if your father or mother serves as the army, navy, Airforce than you get the perks I have the 8 priorityin defense kota which get me benifit to get admission, you can also get this benefit . The improvement I need --Notify applicants promptly about important updates, such as changes in admission criteria, cutoffs, and counseling schedules.

For admission under the btech branch one needs to take the Jee Mains entrance exam and secure a rank under 50k for admission in the CSE branch and just to join the joining you'll have to score a rank under 150k. All the details regarding application and admission are provided on the Main GGSIPU website. The admission process must be a little fast.

The eligibility for the BTech course was qualifying JEE exam which is as hard as iron. As the world has progressed a lot so therefore the admission process is all online. All the fees are paid through net banking and the important dates are notified on their website itself. Though I hadn't availed any of the benefits of reservation categories for obvious reasons as I don't belong to any one of them I must say that I don't like this reservation system at all admission should be fairly on the basis of marks only. Ans this is the only improvement I want to see in India's admission process.

The Application Form Will Be Released After The Release Of Jee Results In The Official Ggsipu Website And A Deposit Of 40000 As The University Fee For Applying To Proceed Further Process. How will Maharaja Surajmal Institute be in the coming 4 years?
I have a friend who is an alumnus of MSIT and here’s what he had to say about this.
Faculty: There is a significant decline in terms of management and teaching. The faculty members are mostly doctorate students and they are pursuing their studies as well as teaching, so it is fair to say that they teach you with no sense of belonging.
Infrastructure: Most of the campuses are growing old and there is hardly any maintenance done. They started upgrading a few years back but the development is very slow. Labs are not equipped with the necessary equipment.
Placements: MSIT has a good placement record. There is every likelihood that the prospects for placement may dry in the future years, as the quality of education stays stagnant. The average CTC offered has remained the same since 2004. Here are the recent placement highlights.

Do CSE students in MSIT get enough free time to do extracurricular work like coding and other projects?
A friend of mine from school used to be a student of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) and he and his classmates had to do some serious time management. Well, it’s something all of us have to learn anyway. The answer to this question depends on perspectives. These may vary from person to person.
- You will have to make time. The institute will not provide you with time.
- The institute will serve as a motivation or just to provide exposure but you will always be the one to manage your time.
- The faculty of MSIT will gauge your academic performance on how regular you are with attending your classes and the final score at the end of your session.
- All the professors in the department CS and IT encourage the students to take part in a number of competitions like coding, hackathons, etc. This is also a way to learn the skill of management of time.
Towards the end of the semester, you will be engaged in preparation for the examinations so time management may get tricky as well as difficult.
