I took cse branch because of its demand in the market and also due to various applications of computer science in the upcoming generation Every 60 students has 1 faculty of each subject and has a separate classroom for teaching And for labs for every 30 students you will get a separate lab and faculty The faculties are well qualified and very much experienced too much friendly and always solve doubts Mid Term exam held after 2 months of admission and end term held near about 5 months and then the same repeats for next term or semester Syllabus is easy and if you study even a week before exams then also you will perform the best.
I chose this course because I want to do the core job. Faculty is somehow very average they lack knowledge many times but try to help the students. The ratio is good in class. teaching is not that efficient. Like they have no interest in teaching. Most are the phd graduates. 1-term exam held every semester. Easy to pass because of low total marks and syllabus.
So, I chose to pursue BTech in CSE because I am a coding freak and I always wanted to be a Software Engineer. So talking about the faculty I must say they were 10/10 for the way they teach and for their efforts but if I talk about the college I feel that they were more strict than my school.
I chose the Btech Cse Branch, The Girls To Boys Ratio Is Less than expected. Teachers Are Highly Qualified for this Role And They All Atleast Phd Degree Level In Their Respective subjects with a Great Amount Of Knowledge And They Are Always Ready To Give Valuable advice to The Teachers.
I have an interest in coding and I am a tech enthusiast which is why I have taken this course. There is one teacher for approximately 60 students and they all are highly qualified. There are two exams in a semester one is sessional and the other is final they both are not so hard to pass.
Currently I am studying engineering in Computer Science. Faculty is good. They only want us to study but there is 75 percent attendance rule which is a problem for many students. Teachers in college are highly qualified and are passionate about teaching and not just like other teachers who just do it for a job.
Choose MSIT if you want to prioritize degree value over cost. Otherwise, go with SRM. MSIT CSE placements are excellent, but if you live in a politically neutral environment with large campuses, consider SRM, Chennai.
Technical societies, such as IEEE, are very active, and if you are fortunate enough to be a part of them, it is better for you in terms of placement and 'knowledge building.
If you are serious about expanding your knowledge, there are a few amazing teachers as well as seniors who can assist and guide you. It is entirely up to you to make the most of the available opportunities.
One of my friends is a final year student at MAIT - IT. And here is some statistics provided by him, which I think will clear your doubts.
You can have hobbies and maintain your academic profile side by side. It depends on whether or not you are interested in accomplishing it.
MSIT is definitely better than BPIT when it comes to computer science engineering. BPIT is not that bad but not as good when compared to MSIT.
Placements at BPIT are getting better each year but MSIT is still leading. The table below should provide you with a better perspective on the same:
College name |
Average package |
Highest package |
Hiring companies |
MSIT |
INR 4 to 8 LPA |
INR 21 LPA |
MU Sigma, Jaro Education, Amazon, Google, Ion Trading |
BPIT |
INR 3.95 LPA |
INR 10 LPA |
HSBC, BYJU’s, Mavenhive, Hashedin Technologies, Infosys |
Overall, there isn’t much difference between the two colleges. If you are planning to pursue your post-graduate studies, the college will probably not matter but your studies definitely will. You should also take into account the distance you might have to travel every day which could play a major role.
My suggestion to you would be to write down the pros and cons of both the colleges and see which matters more. Is it the college name or the college stream?
Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) and Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) both are private engineering colleges in New Delhi affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). There is not much of a difference between them in terms of the syllabus of the branches.
Here are some of the things that you should know about the two courses.
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE):
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE):

Choose a branch according to your strengths and passion. In terms of college, both are almost equal and branches should be the differentiator rather than the college.
ITM (NCU) Gurgaon (Now The North Cap University, Gurgaon) outperforms MSIT college. Having friends studying in both these colleges, I can assure you that there are many reasons behind choosing ITM.
Categories | CS at ITM (NCU) Gurgaon | CS at MSIT |
Course Fee | 10.4 lakh | 4.69 lakh |
Highest CTC | 12 LPA | 13-15 LPA |
Average CTC | 6 LPA | 4.5 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | Deloitte, EY, Fidelity International, Optum, etc. | Amazon, Infosys, Optimus, Aricent, etc. |
Most of my friends landed a job at TCS and other companies as well. Therefore, It is suggested that you go for ITM (NCU) in Gurgaon for CS.
First of all, both the branches differ a lot from each other. Thus, you need to understand which branch you are inclined to. Also, keep in mind that you can change your field from ECE to CSE but not vice versa. So, choosing CSE can get you an advantage in many ways. My friend is currently studying CSE in MSIT and here’s what his experience says.
Dedicated faculty: Most teachers are well experienced and really enjoy what they teach you. If you have even smallest of the doubts, do not hesitate as they will assist you whenever you need them. Especially in the CSE department, teachers are really cooperative.
Infrastructure: If you visit both MSIT and MAIT, you will find that MAIT has a tad bit better infrastructure.
Location: MSIT definitely has a location advantage as you can find various hangout spots around the institute and even the nearest metro of Janakpuri East is just 5 minutes away. On the other hand, MAIT lacks proximity to metro and hangout spots.
Placements: While both the colleges have great placements, the CSE branch will get you better packages and increased opportunities, like any other college In India.
According to the recent placement data the highest and average CTC offered at MSIT is 47 LPA and 3.6 LPA. For MAIT the average and highest CTC is 3 LPA and 28 LPA.
All in all, both MAIT and MSIT are reputed private colleges of Delhi. The biggest thing that makes the difference here is the branch you choose. No doubt CSE has an upper hand over ECE as mentioned above.
