NRI Institute of Information Science and Technology (NIIST), Bhopal Admission 2024: Ranking, Courses, Placement

The institute offers full-time BE course in six specializations. In addition to it, it also offers B.E in part-time mode of four years duration under two specializations. Admissions to B.E shall be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of JEE Main.

In case of admissions to B.E (Part Time), candidates merit as per marks secured in last qualifying examination shall be considered for selection. DTE, Madhya Pradesh shall prepare merit list and seats shall be allotted through off-campus online counselling.

The eligibility for both Full Time and Part Time courses is given below:

All eligible candidates shall register for off-campus online counselling and must opt for NIIST during choice filling phase. The institute shall also conduct admissions through Institute Level Counselling as per schedule declared by DTE.

• Those applying for Part Time course in B.E should have minimum two years of relevant work experience and the candidates must be residents of Madhya Pradesh.
• Reserved category candidates shall be given relaxation of 5% in academic eligibility criteria.
• The eligibility requirement for ILC shall remain same and candidates must register for counselling at DTE webite.
• ILC shall be conducted as per merit of marks obtained in class 12^th qualifying examination.

At the postgraduate level, the institute also offers full-time M.Tech course of two years duration. It also offers part time M.Tech of three years duration. To be eligible for admissions, candidates must have obtained their bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from an AICTE approved institution or AIU recognized university.

Admissions shall be granted through counselling conducted on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in GATE.

Candidates due to appear in final year of degree examinations can also apply on provisional basis.

• For seeking admission in part-time course, a candidate must possess minimum 2 years of relevant experience after passing of qualifying examination.
• During allotment of seats, candidates having valid GATE scores shall be given preference.

The institute offers two years full-time MBA course affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal (M.P). In addition to it, the institute also offers MCA of three years duration. Admissions will be allotted through off-campus online counselling conducted by DTE, M.P.

Selection of candidates shall be done on the basis of scores obtained in Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). In case of MCA, candidates shall be selected solely on the basis of merit as per marks obtained in last qualifying examination.

Candidates in the final year of degree examination are also eligible to appear in the CMAT test on provisional basis. 90% of seats in each course shall be filled by candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh.

CMAT is conducted by AICTE for MBA and admission shall be done by the DTE, M.P through counselling on the basis of common merit lists provided by the AICTE.
