Located in the foothills of the Akathethara region in Palakkad, the NSS College of Engineering, is located in Kerala. The institute is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, and was established in 1960 by Nair Service Society.
Spread over 125 acres, the college includes an administrative block, separate blocks for each department, a library block and four hostels including one for ladies.
During admissions, NSSCE fills up 85% of the seats on the basis of merit and 15% of the seats are reserved for management quota.
The institute offers admission to the B.Tech course in 6 specializations and higher Secondary examination qualified students can apply for the course. Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in the KEAM.
Further, the institute offers admission to the M.Tech course under 6 specializations and 18 in each specializations. GATE qualified students will get admission to the course.
Coming to placements, many reputed national and multinational companies visit for campus recruitment annually. A large number of graduates from NSSCE secure job offers with companies like TATA Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Infosys, WIPRO Ltd and many others.
