NSS College of Engineering (NSSCE) Admissions 2024: B.Tech, M.Tech, Fees, Eligibility, Registration
Located in the foothills of the Akathethara region in Palakkad, the NSS College of Engineering, is located in Kerala. The institute is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, and was established in 1960 by Nair Service Society.
Spread over 125 acres, the college includes an administrative block, separate blocks for each department, a library block and four hostels including one for ladies.
During admissions, NSSCE fills up 85% of the seats on the basis of merit and 15% of the seats are reserved for management quota.
The institute offers admission to the B.Tech course in 6 specializations and higher Secondary examination qualified students can apply for the course. Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in the KEAM.
Further, the institute offers admission to the M.Tech course under 6 specializations and 18 in each specializations. GATE qualified students will get admission to the course.
Coming to placements, many reputed national and multinational companies visit for campus recruitment annually. A large number of graduates from NSSCE secure job offers with companies like TATA Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Infosys, WIPRO Ltd and many others.
Since NSSCE is a government aided institution, it offers over 16 different scholarships and concessions for all B.Tech and M.Tech degree courses.

NSSCE B.Tech Eligibility
Candidates applying for the B.Tech program at NSSCE must have secured:
- Intermediate or 12th exam equivalent with 50% aggregate score in science subjects for general category studies and a pass mark in 12th exams with science as major subjects is enough for applicants from SC/ST category
- Marksheets of 10+2 for all categories
- A valid score in KEAM
Selection Criteria
Admission to the course will be based on the performance in the KEAM entrance exam.
NSSCE M.Tech Full-Time Admission 2023
NSSCE invites application for admission to the M.Tech course under 6 specializations. Students with B.Tech/B.E degree in relevant subjects can apply for admission.

NSSCE M.Tech Eligibility
- Candidates applying for the M.Tech program at NSSCE must have secured
- B.Tech degree with 55% marks for applicants from general category
- Valid GATE Score
- For reserved categories like SC/ST, a pass mark in B.Tech degree is enough to apply
NSSCE M.Tech Selection Criteria
- Aspirants who have qualified B.Tech degree exams with at least 55% must also have their GATE 2020 scorecard.
- All the applicants are categorized under Keralite (Residents of Kerala, Non-Keralite I and Non Keralite II categories.
- Non Keralite I Category consists of candidates who studied 10+2 in Kerala or with parents form government jobs/ defence jobs who were posted in Kerala for minimum 2 years
- Non-Keralite Category-II consist of candidates who are eligible for admission to government seats and management quota seats in engineering courses in Government Controlled Self financing Colleges.
- The ‘Non-Keralite Category-II’ (NK II) candidates will be considered for admission to the Government seats in Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges only when the Keralite and Non-Keralite I (NK I) candidates are not available for admission.

- After appearing for the exam and acquiring a pass result, contact the NSSCE college for admission counsel.
- Note - Admission Fee is payable at time of admission.
