Nagpur Institute of Technology BE admission 2024 is done through the MHT CET exam. The tentative MHT CET dates 2024 have been announced. The online application form will be released in March 2024. The MHT CET 2024 exam is to be held from April 16 to May 2, 2024.
NIT Nagpur admission to various UG , PG and doctorate level programs is based on national level exams accepted by the institute.NIT Nagpur is well known for its undergraduate B.Tech programme which is offered under eight different specializations of Engineering via regular mode. Admission to the B.Tech programme is done through the JEE Main entrance examination followed by the JoSAA Counseling process. NIT Nagpur charges a total fee of INR 5.47 lakhs for its 4 years B.Tech programme and to get admission into the CSE branch of VNIT Nagpur, a general category candidate should have obtained a JEE Main rank between 1568-4708.
At the postgraduate level, NIT Nagpur offers various programs such as ME/ MTech, MSc, MCA and MBA courses based on other national level exams. Admission to MTech & MArch programs is done through GATE scores followed by CCMT counseling. Whereas for MBA, CAT scores are required. Further for PhD courses, interested candidates must have to give an entrance exam conducted by NIT followed by an Interview.

NIT offers BE degree program in 5 different specializations. The minimum required eligibility for admission to BE course is 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and any of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology with minimum 50% marks.
Admission to the UG program is given on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in MHT-CET conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. Candidates who possess valid JEE Main score are also eligible for admission. Applicants belonging to Maharashtra have to mandatorily appear for MHT-CET entrance exam.
For admission, all the candidates will have to participate in Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Other state candidates including J & K candidates, will be allotted seats on the basis of JEE Main scorecard only. Out of the total seats, 20% seats are filled through Institute/ Management Quota and 65% seats are filled through CAP.

MHT- CET is an offline exam and consists of two papers. Paper 1 is of Mathematics and Paper 2 is of Physics and Chemistry. A candidate must appear for both Papers I and Paper II. Duration of each paper is 90 minute.
