OIST offers B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA programs and is considered the top choice among IITJEE/MAT/Pre MCA candidates in the state. The institute offers seven different specialization options in engineering.

B. Tech 1st year admission is based on state level counseling through JEE Main as well as college-level counseling on the basis of percentage secured in class 12th exam.
It is mandatory for applicants to register online with the Directorate of Technical Education here for the counseling process in order to be considered for admission at OIST.
Candidates may apply through online as well as offline modes.
For admission to B.E program, a valid score in PET conducted by M.P state or JEE Main is required.

OIST M.Tech Selection Process

Selection is on the basis of a valid score in GATE examination followed by a state/college level counseling.
Seats are allocated after the online counseling process conducted by DTE-MP.
In a situation where seats are left vacant due to the unavailability of GATE-qualified candidates, the non-GATE applicants are considered for admission on the basis of scores obtained in the qualifying examination.

How to Apply for OIST Bhopal?

Candidates interested to secure admission at OIST, can apply either online or offline:

Online Process:

Application Forms can be accessed at the OIST website.
Complete the Application Form, pay application fee online and submit the form.
The online application fee is: INR 1,000/- for General and INR 600/- for SC/ST

Note: Please note that an additional INR 50 will be charged as processing fee.

Offline Process:

Procure the application form from the OIST campus and complete the same.
Pay the application fee online through authorized MP Online KIOSK or using a Credit/ Debit Card or Net Banking.
Post the completed application form along with all the documents and payment confirmation document to OIST address.

According to data submitted for NIRF 2021, 24 OIST students receive full tuition fee reimbursement from the State and Central Government.

Ans. No, there is no pre-defined cut-off score for the CLC process at OIST. However, cut-offs are declared on the day of admission round to facilitate students who have registered for the CLC round.

Ans. Fees at OIST can be paid either online or offline. If you are using online payment mode, you can pay your fees using net banking facilities. In case of offline payment mode, you need to get a Demand Draft issued in favor of the college and submit the same at the institute’s Accounts Office.

Ques. Do OIST have campus accommodation facilities?

Ans. Yes, the college has separate campus accommodation facilities for male and female students and includes meal facilities too. Campus accommodation comprises one hostel for boys and two for girls.
