QIS Institute of Technology - [QISIT], Prakasam Admission 2023: Important Dates, Application process

QIS Institute of Technology provides B.Tech program in various disciplines. The courses include CSE, ECE, IT, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering. The admission for the courses is based on Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University norms. The University conducts Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) as a selection process admission for B.Tech/B.E Courses.

The aspirants should qualify AP EAMCET and attend the Counseling (conducted by JTNUK) with the obtained cut-off marks to seek admission in QISIT. The admission process is based on Merit-cum-choice basis.

As a basic eligibility for seeking application, the candidate should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology from a recognized board.

QIS Institute of Technology provides M.Tech program in CSE, Power Electronic & Drives, VLSI & Embedded System, Structural Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing Systems specializations, on a full-time basis.

Candidates seeking admission for all the above courses should qualify the Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP-PGECET) conducted by Andhra University on behalf of AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The successful completion of Entrance Test is followed by the state-level Counseling conducted based on Merit-cum-choice basis.

As eligibility criteria, the candidate should have secured at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying BE/B.Tech/AMIE examinations, in the relevant field.

The admission for MCA course offered in QISIT is based on Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) conducted by Sri Venkateshwara University on behalf of APSCHE. The candidate has to qualify APICET and attend the Counseling process conducted by the University for seeking admission in the institute.

The Candidate seeking admission should have completed a 3-year degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects either in the intermediate or Degree level. The student should have secured minimum 50% marks as aggregate in the qualifying examinations (45% for SC/ST candidates).
