The courses offered are for four years and three years respectively. The number of seats depend upon the nature of specializations as opted by the candidates.

The admission in B.Tech is done on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects. Candidates who have obtained the minimum required marks in their last qualifying examination are eligible to apply for B.Tech courses in Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology.

Students who have passed Diploma Examination or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in relevant discipline are eligible to take admission in B.Tech (lateral). The admission process is done on the basis of marks scored in last qualifying examination, i.e., Diploma or B.sc.

Note: Relaxation of 5% of marks is given to SC/ST candidates in comparison to 50% marks required for General candidates

At postgraduate level, Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology offers three courses such as Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Applications and Master of Technology (M.Tech) in various specializations.
