SCMS School Of Engineering & Technology Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Application Process

The institute offers 6 specializations in B.Tech. The duration of B.Tech. program is 4 years. End semester examinations are conducted by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Trivandrum.

The specializations offered are:

• Computer Science and Engineering – 120 seats
• Electronics & Communication Engineering – 90 seats
• Mechanical Engineering – 120 seats
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering – 60 seats
• Civil Engineering – 120 seats
• Automobile Engineering – 60 seats

Eligibility Criteria

• Marks obtained at the 10+2 level is the basic criteria for admission.
• Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2021.
• No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed
• Candidate must be the citizen of India

Selection Procedure

• The score obtained in KEAM will be  taken into consideration for B.Tech. admission.
• List of selected candidates is published on the institute notice board at the Corporate office and in the website within a week of completion of the selection process

The institute offers 6 specializations in M.Tech. The duration of M.Tech. program is 2 years and is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Trivandrum.

The specializations offered are:

• Computer-Aided Structural Engineering – 18 seats
• Environmental Engineering – 24 seats
• Production and Industrial Engineering – 18 seats
• Computer Science and Information System – 18 seats
• VLSI & Embedded System Engineering – 18 seats
• Communication Engineering – 18 seats

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be a B.Tech./B.E. with minimum of 60% marks
• Non- GATE candidates can also apply
• Candidates having valid GATE score will have preference over others
• The candidates shall be an Indian National
• Candidates must have a DTE rank
• For a Director of Technical Education (DTE) rank the candidates are required to register online on the www.dtekerala.gov.in

Selection Procedure

• Candidate needs to fill the application form either online or offline (downloading from the website)

• Marks obtained at the graduation and the score obtained in GATE are taken into consideration for M.Tech. admission

• From the application received at the institute, based on the DTE ranks , institute publishes a ranklist for the selected candidates

The institute offers a 3 years MCA program which is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (KTU), Trivandrum.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have a B.Sc. /BCA/ B.Tech. /B.A./ B.Com degree with mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation with not less than 55% marks, excluding languages, in the qualifying examination
• Candidates with B.Sc. Computer Science, BCA, or B.Sc. or B.Com degree of the Mahatma Gandhi University or any other degree, of the university or any other university considered valid / equivalent thereto by the University need only
• A valid MCA Entrance score is a must for admission
