Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time BE/B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
SSN College of Engineering offers B.E/ B.Tech program in full time mode for 4 years. Candidates must have completed 10+2 levels of education to be eligible for these 8 specialisations of engineering.
Candidates who have achievements in sports and have represented at national and international levels can also apply. They must have the certificates of the achievements they have done.
Students who are children of PIO or Foreign Nationals or NRI can also apply for the program provided they must have completed their 10+2 level of education or equivalent. If the candidate has not completed 10+2 from CBSE medium, they must produce a certificate to prove the equivalence of the board and qualifying examination.
Candidates belonging to PIO/ FN category must have the following documents while appearing for the program;

Selection of the candidates will be done based on merit and marks scored on 10+2 exams and Q marks scored in Mathematics (M), Physics (P) and Chemistry(C): The formula for calculating the Q marks is mentioned here below;
Q = M + ((P+C) / 2), where M, P and C are percentage marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry respectively.
All admissions are done following the guidelines set by Anna University. To apply, students can get the application form from the college website. The mode of application will be online.
Candidates will have to fill in the application forms and submit online along with application fees. Candidates will have to participate through TNEA counseling for admission.

TNEA Counselling is conducted in online mode. The counseling authority will publish the list of candidates who can participate in the counseling rounds based on TNEA scores.
Candidates will also have to make fee payment in order to participate in the counseling. Payment of the counseling fee can be done online through Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit card.
After successful fee payment, candidates can start their choice filling for SSN College for their desired branch of engineering. After filling the choices in the decreasing order of preference, candidates will have to lock their choices through the same login.
Once the choices are locked, candidates cannot modify the list. If the candidates select the choices and could not lock, then it will get locked automatically.
Following this, various rounds of counselling will happen. If allotted, candidates must download the allotment letter and move to SSN College of Engineering. This allotment will be done on the basis of rank and seats available.
Once they reach the college, they need to pay the final admission fee. Following are the documents candidates need to carry for verification with originals and photocopies during counseling and reporting at college
