SSNCE Chennai Admissions
Selection of the candidates to the BE/B.Tech programs will be done based on merit and marks scored on 10+2 exams. Candidates need to participate through TNEA counseling for admission.
Admission to ME/ M Tech programs is granted on the basis of merit. Preference is given to GATE rank holders and high marks scorers in the universities.
Application Procedure:
- Visit the official website of the online application form
- Enter your basic details to create a login ID
- A verification link will be received on the candidate’s email ID.
- Upon clicking it would redirect the candidate to the password changing site.
- Create a password.
- Login using password and ID to fill the application form
- Upload the required scanned photograph and signature
- Pay the application fee online.
- Retain the application form copy & acknowledgment copy for future reference.

- Medical Centre: The students can have access for medical advice and get medicines in case of emergencies. A doctor is available at all times in the college to take care of the students in any situation. A van is also available for the means of transportation at all times on campus.

- SSN College is a very good college with excellent staff, abundant facilities, merit-based admissions, and a pleasant atmosphere.
Dislike
- There was no internship offered at that time, so we voluntarily went to a few companies and did small works, but didnt get any stipend for that.
- If there is a positive response, I have to give it to the entire staff and labs. However, when it comes to negative feedback, the college management was very poor and the worst when it came to collecting fees and granting condonation.
So basically admission can be done either by TNEA counseling or by management quota. The management quota is purely merit-based. The entrance exam is conducted which is further proceeded by an interview. Through counseling cutoff above 195 is required for CSE, EEE, IT, and ECE. The application can be found ssn the official website. The application fee is 1000rs. The dates for application are not yet published.

Based on inter marks, If we qualify for their cutoff we will be given a seat. The seat will be given based on the eamcet rank also. The college entrance exam is also held, if we get cut off marks then also we will be given a seat.

I didn't take any entrance exams. I got admission via tnea(Tamilnadu engineering admission). They do have a management seat for which you have to undergo an entrance examination and an interview process. The details about the process of admission are available on SSN official website. They do have a reservation for 25 rural students who studied in a government school and also for another category.

Since I am a MANAGEMENT quota student I have joined SSN through the entrance exam and also an interview. Always keep on updated on college websites. Reservation is only applicable for government quota students. The process of application is very tedious.

I am a management quota student I entered SSN through the SSN entrance exam and interview. The application form and all other necessary details are obtained from the college's official website as well as I went to college by myself. Reservation benefits won't work for the management quota but apply to the government quota.

I entered the college through management quota. we should write an ssn entrance exam, unlike the government quota students who had cut off. the messages and application forms are kept on updated on the college website and I also met the college by myself for more details. so far I haven't recieved any scholarship but the college provides many scholarships to help financially

There should be 70% in maths, physics, and chemistry in your 11th and 12th for eligibility for the exam(the exam consists of mpc and aptitude questions) after which there are two rounds of interviews, and you are sent a mail if you are selected.

For management quota, there is an entrance examination and for government quota, it is through cut off. I joined through government quota under tnea. Here reservation for each community is offered.
The minimum cut-off is 190 for this college for the lowest-ranked course. Application fees will be around 5000rs.
