Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must pass the HSC WITH 45%(40% for reserved category)inPCM and 30%in English
• The candidate must give the JEE MAIN / WBJEE

Selection Criteria

• The candidate will be selected based on the JEE Main /WBJEE score.
• Considering the 12th exam results, JEE Main and WBJEE, a merit list shall be made category-wise, listing All India Rank (AIR) of candidates.
• Candidates have to register for counseling online at the official JoSSA website.
• Candidate must also attain the counseling
• Counseling process consist of the following steps:
• Online registration
• Choice of the preferred college
• Payment of fees
• Seats allotment is based on merit and preference

Jee Main Cutoff

At undergraduate level, Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology offers BCA, BBA, BHM programs for a duration of 3 years.

How To Apply​ for SMIT Admissions 2023? 

Application form for admission to SMIT will be filled online using the details of Aadhar card by visiting the Registration through their Aadhaar Number by visiting https://smitgp.edu.in/.

• Login using Email and a valid mobile number 
• Fill Online Application form by providing academic and personal details.
• Upload scanned photograph and pay the application fee
• Submit the application to complete the application process.

Documents Required at the time of Admission

• Class X final marks sheet,
• Class XII marks sheet (only for the 12th passed out students),
• caste certificate for OBC, SC and ST,
• domicile certificate,
• passport size photograph,
• signature (both students’ and guardians’),
• signature and photograph

Eligibility Criteria​

Candidates having a Bachelor degree with at least 40% marks are eligible for admission to MBA program.

Selection Process​

• The selection is solely based on the CAT rank.
• The selection processes are Written Ability Test, Group discussion and personal interview.
•  The factors involved in both steps of admission will be given weightage during selection procedure of CAT

• reporting to the allotted college.

How to Apply for SMIT Diploma Admissions 2021?

Application Form for JEXPO 2021 is available from January 2 – April 15, 2021. JEXPO 2021 Application Form will have to be obtained and submitted through Online Mode and Offline Mode.

• Begin with online registration on official website for JEXPO 2021 i.e. wbscte.org.
• Before proceeding to filling up application form for JEXPO 2021, applicants must arrange soft copies of Passport Size Self Photograph and Signature.
• Applicant is also advised to ensure that he / she fulfils eligibility criteria prescribed for the degree programme applying for admission.
• JEXPO 2021 application fee for offline mode is INR 500/- and INR 250/- for female applicants and for online mode is INR 450/- and INR 225/- for female applicants. Bank changes are not included in the fee and will have to be borne by the candidate as per the bank norms.
• Offline application form will be available in Government and Private Polytechnic and ITI Institutions / Colleges.
• Candidate will have to fill in Application Form as OMR Sheet carefully.
• Offline Form will have to be submitted to the same college from where it was received.
• Other processes are same as online application form process.
