Saveetha Engineering College Admission 2024: Cut Off, Fees, Courses, Eligibility
Saveetha Engineering College (SEC) is an autonomous and private college, which was established in 2001. It is affiliated to the Anna University and follows the state norms for offering admissions.
NIRF ranks Saveetha Engineering College at #124 among IIT’s, and other Universities in India. The college is also ranked by Anna University among 10% of those engineering colleges out of 3,000 that qualify for their academic performance.
At present, the college offers degree programs in B.E, B.Tech, M.E, MBA and Ph.D. admissions are offered on the basis of entrance or merit, followed by state counseling/personal interview or internal entrance.
Admission to B.E and B.Tech is offered to students who have pursued 10+2 from Tamil Nadu or any other institute recognized by Anna University. Applications are made through TNEA and admissions are offered on the basis of merit.

6.1 TANCA Counseling
M.E admissions are offered to those students who qualify either TANCET, CET or GATE. The students are eligible if they have a degree in B.E/B.Tech in a relevant discipline. Applications are accepted through TANCA, for both admissions and counseling.
For MBA admissions students must qualify either MAT, CET or TANCET and have an undergraduate degree in any discipline would be eligible to apply for admissions. Applications are accepted through TANCA MBA counseling.
Ph.D. admissions are offered on the basis of UGC-NET/JRF scores followed by an interview for direct admission. Students who are not NET/JRF qualified are called for an internal entrance test, based on their scores in M.E/M.Tech.
On qualifying the internal entrance, the applicant will be called for a group discussion followed by a personal interview. Applications can be submitted offline at the college personally.
As many as 87 reputed companies offered 93% of the students with an on-campus placement in 2018-19. The highest package offered was 9 LPA.

I took the TANCET exam to join ME at Saveetha Engineering College. The application form is available on the official website and you can contact the college office. The eligibility of course is to get above 7 CGPA in a bachelor's.

There is only one eligibility to apply for this course, which is to get 50% in the 12th board examination. If we obtain 50% or above 50% we are eligible to apply for this course. We can apply for this course for a specific college on their college's official websites, through which we know about application fees and application dates. The process of admission is good as of now, there is no need for a change or upgradation.

I applied for the TNEA councelling and I opted for this college as my 4th choice. My cutoff was 171 and I got this college for the ECE department. There is also an entrance exam conducted by the college for admission. For the entrance exam details, contact the college admission number on the website.

Actually, I got into this college through TNEA Counselling based on the cut-off. There are no entrance examinations but there is a certain criterion like 60 percentage in the 12th Board so that we can get into this college in Management Quota.
