The course for the Btech program is lengthy; however, with the assistance of resourceful teachers and the library, I was able to prepare comprehensive notes from an examination standpoint.
In fact, Jain University has its own placement and internship cell so that all students can opt for an internship.
Placements and jobs in my college are, without any doubt, one of the best in North India.

Dislikes

The schedule is not very hectic and varies for each day of the week.
The placement for civil engineering is not as expected in my college, as it is in other institutions as well.
Sorry, our college does not give any sort of scholarship or loan facility. We have to take loans from banks. It does not provide any scholarships either, which is very unfortunate for us. Even after paying such a high fee, we do not receive any sort of scholarship or loans from the college.

SET JU Scholarships

The university believes in promoting higher education among deserving and meritorious students. It offers a number of scholarships under various categories. The scholarships are granted to students on the basis of scores secured in CET, COMEDK, Uni-GAUGE, and JEE Main & Advanced. For CBSE / ISE board students, scholarships will be awarded on a merit basis. Gate Qualified students are eligible for Scholarship (50% of the 1st year Tuition fee, 1 seat per branch) and the same is to be continued if the candidate scores more than 60% in the 1st year.

JEE (MAIN) Based Scholarship for B. Tech Applicants

Based on scores availed in JEE-Main, conducted by NTA, B. Tech aspirants applying to JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) - Faculty of Engineering and Technology shall be eligible for the grant of the meritorious scholarships.

Eligibility: Students who have secured minimum of 60% and above in 12th/2nd PUC/equivalent examination board prescribed as per AICTE and UGC.

Ques. Does the SET JU, Bangalore provide an accommodation facility?

Ans. The Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Faculty of Engineering and Technology Hostel is a home away from home. The residential arrangements are separate for boys and girls. University accommodations are managed by the Hostel Management Division. The facilities are guided strictly by the sense of comfort and quality of life for students.

Hostel Facilities

In a room, 2 inmates with attached bathroom & hostel provide a cot, a mattress, one set of bedsheets and a pillow cover, a study table, a chair and a cupboard for each student. Every hostel has a solar-heated water facility, common water cooler, common TV room, etc. Room furniture and electric fittings are required to be maintained by the inmates in good condition. At the time of allotment of room and leaving the hostel for the summer vacation, every student must take over and hand over, respectively, the hostel property carefully.
