Like
- The labs are very good quality.. we have all the required equipment
- Proffers are bit of headache but all have very good teaching powers
- College has a very good infrastructure, and campus is also very nice
- Campus area is very Huge and the greenary is also good
- Our college can do excellent work in cultural events and got lot of trophy.
- Placement is very important for students and college will maximum try for on the student placement.
- TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and many companies visit our college to hire students.
Dislike
- The current curriculum must be fully changed as engineers are not going to apply bookish knowledge into practical life. After all, what matters are your hands-on skills and techniques learned through practicals.
- Yes, sometimes it provides internships once a year, but not every 7 months. Lastly, Swatch Abhiyan was the internship provided, but it is for a certificate and no stipend is given by the government. We have to spend our own money.
- There are no placements available in our college because in 2009 the IT industry had no jobs in the market.
- The faculty at the college was poor, and it was solely based on reservation criteria.
- The faculty of the college was not good as it was solely based on reservation criteria.
- In our college, the hostel is too weak. There are no facilities for food. The hostel doesnt have a mess, only resident hostel. In this hostel, the infrastructure is not good and it also has ragging from seniors. Sanitation in the hostel is weak.
- There was no loan system, which is bad for some students who dont receive scholarships.

The admission process was through Acpc merit rank. There were an exam gujcet and board exams through which the merit rank was counted. The cutoff was upto ranking 13000 in ews open category. Another entrance exam was jee. Some students got admission through it.

SSEC Bhavnagar is an overall good college compared to other government colleges. You can take admitted to this college by ACPC Counselling. The merit of ACPC counseling is made by 60% of the board percentile and 40% of the gujcet percentile.

Gujcet based which happens every year and selection is based on gujcet +12th marks.
