Shri Ram Institute of Technology (SRIT) Jabalpur Admission 2024: MBA Admission, Eligibility

Shri Ram Institute of Technology offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in various specializations such as Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The B.Tech course is offered for a duration of four years. The intake capacity depends upon the specializations opted by the candidates.

Candidates who have studied 10+2 level or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are only eligible to participate in the admission process. However, selection of the candidates for BE will be done on the basis of marks scored in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE- Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Postgraduate courses like Master of Engineering (ME) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) are offered to the candidates who are looking forward to go for higher studies in the field of Engineering. The specializations under ME are Electronics and Communication Engg., Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), System Software(SS) and Heat Power Engg. Even M.Tech is offered in various specializations such as Microwave Engineering, VLSI Design, Computer Technology & Application (CTA), Power System and Machine Design.

All the specializations are offered for a duration of two years. The intake capacity is 18 seats for each of the courses offered under this program.

Admission in M.Tech and ME is done on the basis of marks scored in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The candidates who have studied and passed B.Tech or BE with minimum required marks are only eligible to appear in the admission process, provided they have a valid rank or marks in GATE.

Apart from ME and M.Tech, Shri Ram Institute of Technology also offers postgraduate courses like Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) for a duration period of two years and three years respectively. The intake capacity for each of the courses are 60 seats and 120 seats respectively.

The students who are willing to take admission in the above mentioned courses must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline. Depending on the scores in their last qualifying examination, the eligible candidates will be selected.
