Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women (SVECW) is a privately held autonomous college affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. The college was set up at Bhimavaram in 2001 by Shri Vishnu Educational Society.

SVECW offers five specializations under its M.Tech courses. The minimum eligibility to M.Tech courses is a valid BE, B.Sc or B.Tech degree from a recognized university.
The selection is based on GATE or PGECET ranks of candidates. GATE is conducted at the national level by IITs for admission in engineering courses. PGECET is conducted by Andhra University on behalf of APSCHE for admission in engineering courses and is a state-level examination.
Admission to SVECW is either through GATE or PGECET counselling or by enrolment with Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram.
