Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women  (SVECW) Bhimavaram Admission 2024: Cut Off, Fee structure, Important dates

SVECW, Bhimavaram offers B.Tech. course with seven specializations. The minimum eligibility is 50% marks in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. in 10+2 level examinations.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their EAMCET rank.  EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Admission is done either through EAMCET counselling or by enrolment with Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram.

SVECW offers five specializations under its M.Tech courses. The minimum eligibility to M.Tech courses is a valid BE, B.Sc or B.Tech degree from a recognized university.

The selection is based on GATE  or PGECET  ranks of candidates. GATE is conducted at the national level by IITs for admission in engineering courses. PGECET  is conducted by Andhra University on behalf of APSCHE for admission in engineering courses and is a state-level examination.

Admission to SVECW is either through GATE or PGECET counselling or by enrolment with Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram.

To apply to M.Tech courses, candidates are required to contact the administrative office of SVECW and register with their degree exam results memo.

Key points regarding admission:

• The minimum eligibility is a valid degree in BE/B.Tech/B.Sc in Engineering.
• Provisional admission is allowed in SVECW for final year students who have appeared for college degree examination and hold a valid provisional certificate.
• Valid GATE  or PGECET  ranks are compulsory for candidates to get a seat.
• Preference is given to GATE rank holders during admission.

The college also offers an MBA program. The minimum eligibility for admission to this course is 50% marks in graduation degree.

Admission is done on the basis of a valid ICET score. ICET  is a state-level common entrance test conducted by Shri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati on behalf of APSCHE for admission in MBA.

State-level counselling or direct enrollment with the college can help candidates secure a seat in SVECW MBA course.
