Sri Krishna College of Engineering & Technology (SKCET), established in 1998 is a private, autonomous institution. It is affiliated to Anna University and is NAAC & NBA accredited.

Ph.D. admissions are offered if students qualify UGC-NET/JRF/SET, upon which they would be called for an interview for direct admission. Students who are not NET/JRF qualified are called for an internal entrance test, based on their scores in M.E/M.Tech.
Only after qualifying the internal entrance and meeting the cut-off, the applicant will be called for a group discussion which will be followed by a personal interview. Applications can be submitted through Anna University via post.
Around 96% of the students were offered an on-campus placement by 189 companies that visited for 2020 batch. The highest package was offered at INR 28 LPA, while the average package was 3.92 LPA. A 3% surge in the placements was also witnessed.
