Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) Tirupati Admission 2024: Cut Off, Courses, Selection Criteria

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering [SVCE] offers B.Tech. under the following specializations:

1. Computer Science & Engineering
2. Electronics & Communication Engineering
3. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
4. Mechanical Engineering
5. Civil Engineering
6. Information Technology

Note- Candidates who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent are also eligible.

SVCE Tirupati B.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admission to the program will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in EAMCET.

• AP-EAMCET is an online test of 160 questions and 180 minutes duration
• 70% of the seats allotted are based on merit in AP-EAMCET
• 30% of the seats are allotted through Management Quota. 
• In addition, 20% of the seats are filled by Engineering Diploma holders, based on their merit at ECET (FDH) which are admitted to Lateral Entry B.Tech course.

At the PG level, the institute offers an M.Tech. under the following disciplines- Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. These programs are offered for a duration of two years.

SVCE Tirupati M.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

For all the PG courses, candidates applying should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements.

SVCE Tirupati M.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admission to the M.Tech. program will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in GATE/PGECET.

• 70% of M.Tech Admissions are made based on merit in GATE/PGECET. 
• Remaining 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management Quota. 

Exam Pattern

1. AP-PGECET is an online test of 2 hours duration and is of 120 marks.
2. For M.Tech admission, first preference will be given to candidates qualified in GATE exam in the relevant field based on their test scores
3. The remaining seats will be filled up by the candidates qualified in AP-PGECET as per their merit ranks.

At the PG level, the institute offers an MBA under the following specializations-

• Finance
• Marketing
• Human Resources Systems

Aside from the MBA program, the institute also offers an MCA for a duration of two years. The sanctioned intake for the MBA program is 240 seats. The total intake for the MCA program is 60 seats.

Eligibility Criteria

Degree of at least 3 years duration with at least 50% marks from any recognized University or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10th class level.

SVCE Tirupati MBA & MCA Selection Criteria

Admissions will be made on the basis of merit secured by the candidates in ICET.

70% of MBA & MCA Admissions are made based on merit in ICET and the remaining 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management Quota. 

Exam Pattern

• For admission to MBA and MCA course, candidates will have to appear for AP-ICET.
• AP-ICET is an offline test of 200 marks and is of 150 minutes duration.
