Aspirants seeking admission in this program should meet the following criteria 

Academic Requirement 

• Passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with minimum 55% marks and English with minimum of 50% marks.
• Passed four-year degree with 60% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering only. Minimum 6 months of industrial experience is preferred.
• The degree courses must have been recognized by any State or Central Government or the AICTE and conducted in English language.

Age & Medical Fitness

Not more than 30 years on date of commencement of training and medically fit including eye sight and hearing as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000; as amended from time to time.
