Walchand College of Engineering Admission
Walchand College of Engineering admission process for a Polytechnic Diploma is handled by the office of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State, and Mumbai. The candidates get shortlisted based on the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), conducted by (DTE). For the UG program, the candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State have to appear for MHT-CET and other states based on JEE Main score. The admission for first-year engineering degree courses is done through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). For PG programs the candidates must have completed graduation in the relevant field to be eligible for this course and GATE. The PhD candidates must have completed a master's degree from a recognized university in a relevant field. The candidates need to appear for a Common Entrance Test and Interview/Viva-Voce conducted by Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
How to apply?
- The candidates have to apply through the DTE website.
- Upload specified documents, pay the requisite application fee, submit the filled-in form, and obtain a printout of the confirmation page.
- The applicants have to appear for CAP for shortlisting and seat allocation based on entrance score and course/ college preferences. GATE-qualified candidates are also allocated seats through the CAP.
- Shortlisted candidates then report to the Application Form Receipt Centre (ARC) as per different CAP Rounds.
