A total of 90 students were placed during the placement drive. ICICI Bank placed the highest number of students, followed by Tata Consultancy Services. Companies like Temenos, EY, Walkaroo, Asian Paints, etc. also placed the students.

TSM Placements 2021 Sector-wise

The below graph represents the sector-wise placement data of TSM Placements 2021:

The highest number of placement offers were made by the BFSI sector, followed by the IT sector. 43% of total offers were made from the BFSI sector. 22% of the offers were made from the IT sector. Consulting-Operations, Durables, and Manufacturing sector made 10% of the total offers each. 4% of the offers were made from the FMCG sector, and 3% of the offers were made from the EduTech sector.

The highest CTC package offered in Placements 2021 is the highest compared to the past four years. The average CTC package is gradually increasing every year. 

Every year, more companies are participating in the placement drive at TSM Madurai campus. The number of first-time recruiters is also increasing every year.

The institute maintains a record of more than 180 placement offers during its placement drive every year.

48% of the batch were from either arts or science background. 44% of the students had an engineering background. Only 8% of students had other academic backgrounds.

Most of the students in the batch were freshers who had no previous work experience in any sector. 77% of the students were new to the program, 12% had 1 to 11 months of work experience, 6% had 12 to 24 months of experience, and 5% had more than 24 months of experience.
