Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT) Dehradun Admissions 2024: M.B.A. Admissions, Exam Date

At undergraduate level, UIT Dehradun provides courses like Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and B.Tech (Lateral) to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The courses offered are for four years and three years respectively. The number of seats depend upon the nature of specializations as opted by the candidates.

The admission in B.Tech is done on the basis of rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students who have successfully completed their Diploma in relevant discipline can apply for B.Tech (Lateral). Admission to the B.Tech Second Year (Lateral entry) will be made through the counseling organized by The Uttaranchal University.

At postgraduate level, UIT Dehradun offers two courses such as Master of Science (M.Sc) in Industrial Chemistry and Master of Technology (M.Tech) in six different specializations. The courses offered are for a duration period of two years each. Intake capacity depends upon the nature of courses.

Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech need to appear in General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Apart from the entrance test, the candidate must have qualified his / her Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with minimum required marks. Students who have successfully completed their Graduation Degree in B.Sc can apply for M.Sc. Admission to the M.Sc will be made through the counseling organized by The Uttaranchal University.

Apart from B.Tech, M.Tech and M.Sc, the college also offers Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in various specializations such as Agriculture, Forestry, Food Technology and Horticulture. The intake capacity and duration period for depends upon the nature of specializations.

Admission to the above mentioned courses, candidates must have successfully completed 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects. Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 level. Failing to meet the eligibility criteria will lead to the elimination of the candidates from the admission process.
