Vaagdevi College of Engineering Warangal Admission 2024: Courses, Eligibility, Admission Criteria

VCE offers admission to the B.Tech course under 5 specializations. Higher Secondary examination qualified students will be eligible for admission to the course.

Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in the TS EAMCET or JEE and Counseling.

Specializations and Intakes

VCE Eligibility Criteria:

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.

• 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (TSEAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
• 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management/ NRI candidates.
• In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (TSECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.

VCE Selection Criteria:

Admission is on the basis of rank/score obtained in the TS EAMCET/JEE entrance exam via counseling. However, seats under management quota are filled on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.

VCE offers 2 years full-time postgraduate M.Tech courses in the campus under different specializations. M.Tech is offered in 2 shifts.

Specializations and Intakes

VCE Eligibility criteria:

The minimum qualification for admission to the M.Tech course is a pass in the Under Graduation/Post Graduation from any recognized University with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the test conducted by State Government.

• 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Integrated Common Entrance Test GATE or PGECET conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
• 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management/ NRI candidates.

CVE Selection Criteria:

• Admission is on the basis of rank/score in TS-PGECET or GATE entrance exam via counseling
• Management quota seats are filled on the basis of graduation marks

VCE offers 2 years full time AICTE approved MBA course. The programme is affiliated to JNTU. Any Graduation degree holder can apply for admission to the course.

VCE Eligibility Criteria:

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the MBA is a pass in undergraduate course (10 + 2 + 3).

• 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
• 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management/ NRI candidates.

Selection Criteria:

For MBA, admission is through counseling on the basis of marks obtained in TS-ECET.
