Kishinchand Chellaram College (KC College) was established in the year 1954 under the aegis of the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board. The college is permanently affiliated with the HSNC University, Mumbai and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. KC College has been re-accredited with an A grade by NAAC in three consecutive cycles.

At present, KC College is offering various UG, PG, and Doctoral courses in the field of Arts, Commerce, and Science. KC College Mumbai Admission

Admissions at the institution are either merit-based or entrance-based depending upon the course levels.

For courses like BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BMM, BA JOURNALISM and BMS, candidates are selected based on first come first serve. Whereas, for courses like Ph.D., the candidates are selected based on the entrance test followed by the interview process. PG course admission will also be done on Merit basis.

The application processes are always towards the admission into all courses.

Application Procedure:

Candidates should register themselves online first via the University of Mumbai website and must create username and password.
All the details in the registration form must be filled correctly.
After choosing Kishinchand Chellaram College as the preferred institution in the registration form, one must submit it and take out a printout of the Submission Copy and the Student Copy.
The submission copy must be attached to the admission form of KC College which can be obtained by contacting the institute over call.
Candidate must enter valid email address and phone number for communication purpose.
Candidates who are from outside-Maharashtra Boards will have to fill in provisional eligibility form in the institute office before payment of fees.

The subjects are up to date, and the faculty is really helpful, connecting with students on a personal level.
Yes, one of the main advantages of this college is that you get the best placements.
I have heard from people that they provide good placements to students during graduation or post-graduation. I havent opted for any internships, but one thing I am sure of is that they provide amazing placements with companies like Vodafone, Tata Consultancy, insurance companies, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, etc.
I dont have good knowledge about this, but I have heard that colleges do provide good scholarships for students with an excellent academic year.
They have some of the best laboratories for Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science.
The hostel facilities were good; all electronics were in working condition. The canteen food was amazing and cost-effective.
One is perfect and has some flaws. The management is trying to improve and do its best to make the college shine. But from my side, the college is excellent.

Dislike

The timings are in the morning, and it is difficult to travel so early.
I found it myself, but it was part of the course curriculum, yet the college doesnt give any opportunities.
Scholarship is provided for this course, but no campus placement was offered to us by the college.
There were no hostel facilities or mess food as it was a day college and not a residential one

You need to clear your class 12 to do this course. You can get the application form from the college or website itself and dates are floating and not fixed each year. Fees charged was 5,500. The college has great teachers.

The admission process was easy, there was no entrance exam admission was merit-based, and the cut-off went low after the first few lists up to 80% for the general category. The college has a Sindhi minority quota for which the cut-off was even low. The site for the admission process works well and gives you the necessary information through mail.
