A.D Patel Institute of Technology is one of the technical institutions in Gujarat. The institute is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University (GTU). The college provides both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the engineering field. The institution at present offers 8 B.E courses and 3 M.E. courses.
Admission to these programmes follows a central admission process governed by the Gujarat State Admission Committee for the Professional Courses (ACPC). For admission into the B.E.courses, the candidates must clear the GUJCET examination. Under certain conditions, some institutions under ACPC could allow admission to students with a valid JEE Main score in the UG course.
For admission into M.E. programmes, the candidate must clear the PGCET entrance examination. Candidates with valid GATE score should apply at the ACPC website, but these candidates can avoid appearing for the entrance examination.
Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination could also apply to any of these programmes, provided they submit the necessary documents within the stipulated time. Any candidates failing to produce the proof of eligibility will be automatically removed from the application list. So, candidates must be careful while applying and uploading the relevant documents.
A.D. Patel Institute of Technology offers both B.E. and B.Tech as part of their UG courses. The programmes are full-time courses with four-year duration. The minimum eligibility criterion for these courses includes completing 10+2 or an equivalent in the Science stream with at least 45% marks.
For admission into B.E. the candidate must clear the Gujarat Common Entrance Test or GUJCET 2022. In certain cases, candidates who have cleared JEE Main will also be considered for admission into any of these courses.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit with 60% weightage in the qualifying examination and 40% weightage in the entrance test. The qualified candidates will have to lock their choices in regards to the course and the college they want to attend. Once the candidates lock in their preferences, the ACPC website will publish the first allotment list. The candidates shall also have to pay the necessary fees at the time of admission.
A.D. Patel Institute of Technology offers three postgraduate degrees in the M.E. The three programmes are full-time courses with a duration of two years. The minimum qualification a candidate should possess to apply for these courses is a B.E. / B.Tech degree in the respective branch with at least 50% marks.
The candidates will also have to qualify in the PGCET to be considered eligible for admission. Candidates with valid GATE score may not attend the entrance examination, but they will have to register online at the ACPC website.

The qualified candidates will have to lock in their choices of course and college after the declaration of Provisional Merit List. After the candidates have locked in their preference, the first allotment list will be published. The selected students should then pay the required tuition fees to complete the admission procedure.
A.D Patel Institute of Technology follows the guidelines of the Gujarat State Admission Committee for the Professional Courses. As such, to apply to the institute one must follow the formalities prescribed by the ACPC.
Candidates must be careful to avoid any mistakes while filling in the details of the application form. The candidates may only be allowed one chance to edit the details of the form, which may not be possible after final submission.
