The CMR Institute of Technology came into existence in 2005 in Hyderabad, Telangana. The institute is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
The institute offers B.Tech in six different disciplines viz. Computer Science & Engineering, CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), CSE (Data Science), CSE (Cyber Security), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Electronics & Communication Engineering under its UG wing, MBA and M.Tech in different specializations are offered at PG level.

CMRIT, Hyderabad B.Tech Admission 2023
CMR Institute of Technology offers B.Tech with four specializations under UG Programmes. The eligibility criterion to take admission in B.Tech requires the candidates to have passed Class XII examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects and minimum 50% marks. There is relaxation of 5% in aggregate score for reserved category candidates
The selection of the candidates in B.Tech is based on the score of JEE Main/ TS EAMCET followed by centralized state counselling by, TSCHE. Some seats are reserved under management quota and final selection will be based on interview conducted by the institute.

CMRIT, Hyderabad M.Tech and MBA Admission 2023
The Institute offers MBA and M.Tech under different fields of specializations. The selection of the candidates in M.Tech is based on the score of GATE while for MBA, the candidates have to qualify TS ICET/ TS PGECET. Seats will be allotted through state level counselling by TSCHE.
The basic criterion to take admission in these PG Programs is to have a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with minimum 50% marks. Merit list will be drawn by institute for conducting personal interview of candidates who seek admission through management quota.

Admission:
There is a computer-based state-level exam called eamcet. It consists of maths physics and chemistry, it has no negative marking and the questions are mostly based on the 11 &12th syllabi. the mode to fill out the application form is online and it is 400 rupees. it differs for SC/St people.
Admission:
The application process was through my entrance Emacet exam. Cut off was around 44k rank and I got 27k rank which is when I chose the data science branch in computer science engineering. It was in the year 2021.

Application Submission: Prospective students must complete and submit an application form provided by the college or through a centralized application system. This form typically includes personal information, academic history, standardized test scores (if required), and an essay or personal statement.

I got admission through EAMCET. I got a rank of around 1 lakh. I got a seat in the reservation category. I got CSE-AIML department. Everything is good so far. I suggest that it would be great if students get more knowledge on counselling and department allocation based on their marks and reservation.
