College of Engineering, (COER Roorkee) was established by Seth Roshan Lal Jain Trust is the year 1998. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, namely, B.Tech. in eight different specializations and M.Tech. in two different specializations. There are 810 seats and 36 seats in B.Tech. and M.Tech., respectively.

The college campus provides a pool of resources. The campus is spread over a wide area of 75 acres in lush green surroundings accommodating spacious classrooms, laboratories, computer centre and other infrastructural facilities. The college has sound infrastructure at par with any of the leading institutions.
- Library: The library is fully airconditioned and is spread over an area of about 2455 sqm which also consists of stack room and reading room. It has a rich collection of latest books, national and international journals including more than 1500 online journals through IEEE, ASME, Science Direct, and more. Students get access to e-library for online access to e-books and other related material. The library also has an audio-visual section with TV along with more than 1800 CDs and DVDs.
- Infrastructure: College has state-of-art lecture rooms with audio and visual aids like whiteboards, microphones, collar mikes and more. The campus has Wi-Fi facilities and smart classrooms enabling web-based learning. It has well-equipped laboratories and a computer center with a high-speed internet connection. It also has an IBM Software Lab and BioFuel Research Lab.

- Some of the faculties are too much good that I couldn't

- The syllabus being taught is about the technologies developed in the 1980s; however, the languages being taught are outdated.
- My college does not provide internships, so there is no question of receiving a stipend or anything else.
- The invite the fake companies which give you the promise for the job but never let you join the company.
- Campus placement was limited, but companies like Extramarks Education, Sopra Steria, Mobilloite, etc., came to hire.
- The food quality of the mess is also very poor, which is harmful to students.
- They continue to ask for money for unnecessary things, such as including money for value-added programs in the fee structure. However, when it comes to organizing the programs, the students were asked to register for them separately.
