Park College of Engineering and Technology (PCET) Admission 2024: Fees, Courses, Application Form

Here are some basic details related to the B.E and B.Tech courses:

There are 9 specializations in the B.E course which are shown in the table below. While, B.Tech has only one specialization which is Information Technology with an intake of 90 students.

PCET B.E and B.Tech Eligibility

• A candidate must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
• Those who have passed in vocational subject with prescribed percentage are also eligible

PCET B.E and B.Tech Selection Process

• The institute consider 10+2 score for selecting candidates and those with a valid score need to appear in the TNEA Counselling
• During this counselling, the final seat allotment is done.
• Students who are allotted a seat need to visit the allotted college to confirm the seat and complete the admission formalities

PCET M.E Eligibility

To apply for admission in the course, candidates must possess the following eligibility:

• B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant stream with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category).
• Candidates who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma + AMIE are also eligible
• AMIE candidates must possess 2 years regular full time work experience in respective fields.
• Candidates pursuing final year/semester of the graduation course are also eligible.

PCET M.E Selection Process

• Admission to the course is done through single window counselling on the basis of rank/score obtained in TANCET exam.
• At the time of counselling, seat allotment is done and students who are allotted a seat need to confirm it by paying fees.

PCET MBA Eligibility

The eligibility for the MBA course is mentioned as follows:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45 % for reserved category)
• Degree examination can be 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern or 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern or B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. or 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma + AMIE
• AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time domain related experience
• Lateral Entrants of degree courses are not eligible except for B.E./B.Tech and MCA degree courses
• Distance or weekend mode B.E./B.Tech degree holders are not eligible
• Candidates in final semester/year of qualifying degree are eligible

PCET MBA Selection Process

• The selection is done through the TANCA counselling based on the graduation and TANCET score.
• It is important for students to take part in the counselling round and register themselves.
• Seats will be allotted to only registered applicants based on the choice of course and college filled.
• Candidates who are satisfied with the allotment need to confirm the seat and get their documents verified.
•  Lastly, they need to pay a requisite fee and report to the allotted institute for further admission process.

• Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45 % for reserved category)
• Candidates must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2.\
• Those who have completed their Degree examination in 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern or 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma + AMIE pattern are also eligible.
• AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time domain related experience
• Lateral Entrants of degree courses are not eligible except for B.E./B.Tech and MCA degree courses

PCET MCA Selection Process

• For admission in the course, the institute considers the TANCET score.
