Established in the year 1997, Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering and Technology (VVCET) is situated in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering and Technology offers BE in 5 different disciplines of engineering, BE Lateral Entry, ME in 2 different areas of specialization, MBA and MCA.

- For admission in BE, the candidates must have passed 10+2 in PCM with minimum 50% marks. BC/ BCM candidates are required to have atleast 45% marks while the MBC/ DNC/ SC/ SCA/ ST candidates must have 40% marks in 10+2.
- For BE Lateral entry, the candidates are required to have a diploma or B.Sc. degree with minimum 55% marks.
- Selection of the candidates in B.E./ B.Tech is based on merit or through TNEA. However, for lateral entry, admission is direct in BE 2nd year.
- Candidates seeking admission in MBA, MCA, MCA (Lateral entry) and ME must have obtained a graduate degree in relevant subjects with minimum 50% marks.
- Selection of the candidates in MBA is based on CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ TANCET , followed by GD and PI. However, for ME and MCA, the candidates are selected on the rank in TANCET .

VVCET, Namakkal PG Programmes Admission 2023
Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering and Technology offer 3 different PG Programmes viz. MBA, MCA and ME in two disciplines of engineering and technology. The basic eligibility criterion to take admission in these PG courses is to possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant streams from any recognised Institution/ University.
Selection criterion for MBA is based on the score in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ TANCET , followed by the performance of the candidates in GD and personal interview. On the other hand, the candidates in MCA and ME are selected on the basis of the rank in TANCET .

VVCET, Namakkal Application Process 2023
The candidates looking to take admission in Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering and Technology must register with TNEA/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ TANCET/ GATE on the respective official websites to appear for the mandatory entrance examinations.
To apply for admission, here are enlisted the steps to be followed –
- The candidates must download the application form by visiting the admission page of the official website www.vvcet.ac.in.
- Take the print out for the form and fill it correctly.
- Affix the passport sized photographs on the designated places in the form.
- Attach the documents listed below –
- SSLC/ 10th mark sheet and passing certificate
- HSC/ 10+2 mark sheet and passing certificate
- Bachelor’s degree and passing certificate
- CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ TANCET/ GATE Admit Card and Score Card
- Transfer Certificate
- Provisional Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Physically Disabled certificate, if applicable
- Caste Certificate, if applicable
- Medical Certificate
- Sponsor Certificate (for ME part time candidates)
- Income certificate as on or after April.
- Passport sized photographs of candidates – 06, Mother’s and Father’s passport sized photographs – 04 each
- Submit the application form along with the aforementioned documents at the Accounts section of the admission office by paying the fee.
- The candidates must also handover the ‘Original’ Documents to the certificate section in the office before the date of joining.
- The candidates seeking loan must fill the respective form and submit the same in the loan department.
