Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) was established in 2001. It is a private engineering college, run by the Syro-Malabar Catholic diocese of Kothamangalam. This institute is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University. VCET offers B.Tech. course in Civil, Mechanical, Computer science and Electrical and Electronic Engineering. VCET was established a central library in 2001. It is spread over the area of 16400Sq.ft. The library has huge collection of Books, National and International Journals, Technical and other Magazines, CD ROMs on Engineering etc. for faculty and students to boost up their knowledge.

Hostel:

Viswajyothi provides excellent hostel facility for girls and boys. Hostels are well furnished with a cot, a table and a chair and can accommodate 250 and 230 boys and girls respectively. Members of the teaching staff are appointed as Resident Tutors in the hostel.

Sports:

Viswajyothi has facilities for Sports and Games. Every year Viswajyothi conducts all Kerala Basket Ball tournament “MAGNUM” in the mid of February.

It conveys many subjects that are relevant and useful to the students.
In Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology, Vazhakulam, they provide numerous internships for the students. You will be assigned to an internship without losing attendance. Additionally, they support and encourage us to attend the internship.
Nowadays, colleges are providing good placement opportunities and excellent placement training for all eligible students, based on the criteria preferred by the company. This is all about the placement cell.
There are national scholarships available for students who have scored more than 80 percent in their 12th grade exams. The college will support us in obtaining the scholarship by informing us about the application process.
The library facility is excellent; there are plenty of spaces for sports, and there is a gym in college as well.
We have very good hostels for both boys and girls, and they are located inside the college campus itself.
All branches in the college are accredited by N.B.A. and have well-developed infrastructure. Students get a peaceful and conducive environment for studying. There is a cafeteria that offers very good food.

Dislike

The placement opportunities for civil engineering and mechanical engineering are very limited compared to other branches.
There are 4 grounds (1 football court, 2 basketball courts, and 1 cricket court). The students are allowed to play on the grounds after classes until 6:30pm

No, they have the best type of admission procedure they also take an allotment for the result and you should be passed keam exam otherwise you need to 5akr a management seat for admission and also there are nri seats.

Should pass KEAM (Entrance exam) with the required cutoff. The entrance exam consists of PCM. Should pass Plus two with 60% Should apply through single window (a software by Kerala government) The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the entrance commission (cee). One should create a profile on the website and apply via it. There are no application fees. The application should be submitted within 2 weeks The admission process must be fast, it was too slow it took around 1 month for the entire admission procedure.
