International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) offers admission to Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Admission to M.Phil/Ph.D. programmes will be based on the  performance in written test and personal interview.

Post Graduation degree holder is eligible for admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. Application form can be filled throught the official website of IIPS (www.iipsindia.org). Application fee of INR 1000/-(general category), INR 500/- (OBC) and INR 250/- (SC/ST category) should be submitted through Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card.

Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Population Studies/ Bio? statistics & Demography  Master’s degree in Population Studies, Demography, Bio?statistics and Epidemiology, Bio?statistics & Demography from a recognized university in India or abroad with a minimum of 55% of aggregate mark
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Population Studies/ Bio? statistics & Demography M.Phil. in Population Studies, Bio?statistics and Epidemiology, Demography from a recognized university with at least 55% of aggregate marks/equivalent grade

IIPS PhD Admission Process

Admission will be based on written test, interview and research proposal for Ph.D students.

  • Merit list of qualified candidates will be uploaded by institution 
  • Selected candidates will be invited for interview
  • Submittion of research proposal (Ph.D) 
  • Final merit list will be uploaded by the institution on the basis of performance in written test and interview
  • Qualified candidates will be called for document verification and payment of programme fee.
