About MCC Chennai
Madras Christian College (MCC) is a private college of liberal arts and sciences, located in Chennai. Founded in 1837, MCC is affiliated to Madras University and it is one of Asia’s oldest extant colleges. Madras Christian College offers more than 40 courses at the UG, PG, and Doctorate level in the fields of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Courses at MCC Chennai are offered under 17 aided streams and 16 streams under the self-financed category.

- Course - it's the best course for the students who are looking for practical learning rather than being a book worm
- Our college provides the best scholarships for each and every student who studies in our college
- Campus life , world class education , good environment, students life, best infrastructure in the college and good friends you can learn so many great things
- The events conducted in the college both department fest and college fest are my favorite one
- You can spot a lot of animals around the college like deers, monkeys and more
- Faculty - you have a very friendly and helpful faculty over here
- The grounds and courts for sports and games are pretty good.
Dislike
- Internships are not available in every department. Companies usually select students from B.Com or BBA for internships. Unfortunately, there was no internship offered in my department, so I dont know the names of the companies that came.
- Worst (some say due to COVID-19), some companies come, and some students are placed, but mostly unsatisfactory.
- Those poor students who are unable to afford food can have a one-time meal, either breakfast or lunch, from the college canteen if we apply with proper documents.
- Except for the 2 new halls, the infrastructure of the other 4 halls is in very bad condition.
- Negative attendance can be frustrating because even if you attend class, they still mark you absent. Additionally, even if we complain, they disregard our concerns. These are the negative aspects of my college.
