JAGSOM Bangalore Admission 2024: Registration, Courses, Cutoff, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

JAGSOM Bangalore offers a full-time PGDM program equivalent to MBA in various specializations. These courses are offered to regular and working professionals under full-time as well as part-time modes. The PGDM course specializations include General, Finance, Marketing, and Analytics and Digital Business. The minimum eligibility to apply for the program is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

The duration of the PGDM course offered by Jagdish Sheth School of Management is 2 years. 

Admission to the PGDM course is done on the basis of XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ JAGMAT/MAT score. In the case of Executive PGDM, merit in the qualifying examination will be considered for admission. Final admission to the course is granted on the basis of performance of the shortlisted candidates in essay writing and personal interview round. 

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% for all subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST candidates) 
• Candidates should have two years of working experience.
• Candidates should have a valid score card in CAT/GMAT/CMAT/JAGMAT/MAT or XAT

JAGSOM Bangalore PGDM Selection Process:

1. Innovation Potential Test (IPT): A 30 minutes’ class test where shortlisted candidates have to showcase their innovation potential by answering MCQs along with descriptive questions.
2. Group Exercise (GE): Group activities for the duration of 30 minutes where candidates are accessed on the basis of their approach towards an appropriate solution to a given problem.
3. Personal Interview (PI): A personal interview for 30 minutes to identify whether a candidate is a value fit. This round consists of a total of 3 panellists.
4. Academic Record: Evaluation of candidate’s consistency in academics with respect to percentage of marks starting from class X.
5. Work Experience (if any): Candidates with prior relevant work experience will be given an advantage at the time of final selection.

JAGSOM Bangalore PGDM Application Process 2023

Application form for JAGSOM can be filled online by following the below-listed steps:

1. Visit the official website of JAGSOM Bangalore and click on ‘New User Registration’.
2. Fill the requested details and click on ‘Save & Continue’.
3. After registration, you will receive an email regarding your User ID and Password.
4. Login by using your ID and Password followed by the payment of application fee (INR1000).
5. Fill other details like Education Details, Employment History etc. and click on the ‘Submit’ button after previewing the application.

Payment of Application Fee:

Application fee of INR 1000 can be paid through one of the four available payment methods.
