National Institute of Fashion Technology - [NIFT], New Delhi - Course & Fees Details

It is a good course with a lot of practical and industry exposure. The course makes sure you are well-trained to go into the fashion world. The faculty could improve. The way of teaching might include more indulgence from faculties rather than just being a business of assignments.

I choose the leather design because it had both garments and accessories. There are faculty for all the subjects and many guest faculties for special subjects if a student opts for one. Most of the teachers have a PhD and they are really helpful and love to give knowledge and have a fun way of teaching. There are 2 internals and a jury and a student can easily pass them if they pay attention in the classes.

It was a nice course we taught about accessories, like bags furniture, home décor, and all those things, And the faculty was also amazing they help us so much to get a good knowledge of designing.

I wanted to do fashion technology from the start the reason I opt for this course I feel personal that this is the thing I wanted to do. The faculty in nift New Delhi is great. The best teachers are present in the college who help students in every aspect possible. The exams were from time to time and they are moderate and one can easily pass them.

This course prepares students to face the apparel industry with efficiency, through a planned curriculum that makes students well-prepared. towards handling the apparel sector easily. The difficulty level of exams is medium.

This course is perfect for somehow who wants to know about how the apparel industry works, in this course, we particularly focus on apparel production. The class strength is 35 students. All professors are highly qualified and experienced. They all are nice and understanding. Some teachers are strict but I think they need it because the subjects they taught they are very important to us, and if we don't study those subjects it leads to problems when we go into the industry, so to make ensure that every student must study the important subject they act little strict. There is no exam curriculum in NIFT students are marked on continuous evaluation, we have to do 3 assignments 2 assignments are marked out of 30 and the last assignment is 40 marks which is actually a jury you have to present your work to jury members. 3 members in the jury panel.

The faculty is highly professional- skilled with excellent experience in the design industry. The faculty helps the students in every manner, they are very friendly and when competitions are held in college the faculty also participates in it, making the students comfortable and more motivated. The course is totally relevant; by doing these courses one can easily step ahead in their industry life.

I had a keen interest in fashion and wanted to do something which streamlined my science background. And I found this course exciting and challenging simultaneously, which made me choose this course. As the class strength is smaller in numbers, every permanent and guest faculty knows every student and tries to help everyone with their career. Most of the faculties are post-graduates, and some have doctorate affiliations they try to teach the students practical knowledge of the industry, which they have experienced firsthand during their careers. We have one mid-term examination, an end-term examination, and a final jury. We were evaluated based on our continuous progress throughout the semester.
