Government College of Engineering (GCE) Tirunelveli Admission 2024: Cut Off, Application process

At undergraduate level, Government College of Engineering (GCE) Tirunelveli offers BE/B.Tech courses to the students who want to pursue their career in the field of engineering. The duration period for the B.E/B.Tech courses is four years. The institute also provides a lateral entry in the B.E/B.Tech second year for which the course duration is three years.

In order to seek admission in the B.E/B.Tech courses, aspiring candidates will have to go through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) conducted by Anna University.

At the postgraduate level, GCE Tirunelveli offers Master of Engineering (M.E.) / Master of Technology (M.Tech) for a duration period of two years.

Students must hold a B.E. or B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline in order to meet the eligibility criteria for admission to the M.E/M.Tech degree program.

The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria, need to appear in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or Common Entrance Test conducted by the Anna University.

Students with a valid GATE score can apply for direct admission. In that case, selection will be done on the basis of marks secured in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
