Sri Venkateswara Institute of Science and Information Technology (VISIT), Rangareddi was established in 2008 and is running under the Sri Gayathri Academy for Technical Education. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU).It offers Master of Business Administration (MBA), Diploma, Undergraduate and Post graduate courses in major streams of engineering and that is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E).

The college has a well-furnished infrastructure and separate accommodations for girls and boys with all modern facilities. The college has a placement cell that provides proper guidance to the students that helps them in their placements.
