KIT’s College of Engineering (Autonomous), Kolhapur was established in the year 1983. KIT Kolhapur accredited by NBA and Re-accreditated with A+ grade by NAAC. Further, the institute is approved by AICTE, DTE and affiliated to Shivaji University. Further, KIT’s College of Engineering has been Awarded “Best Engineering College 2023” (Maharashtra and Goa Section) by ISTE, New Delhi. The institute offers 9 UG, 6 PG branches and 5 Doctoral Programmes with several specializations.

KIT’s College of Engineering Admission
For B.Tech, candidates belonging to Maharashtra must compulsorily appear for MHT CET for admission. Candidates belonging to other states are given admission according to the score of MHT CET and JEE Main. However, the score of JEE Main would be preferred over the MHT CET score. Those with or without Biology subject at 10+2 level are eligible for admission.
