KS Institute of Technology (KSIT) Bangalore Admission 2024: Cut Off, Application process

KSIT Bangalore offers B.E in 4 different streams of Engineering. The minimum eligibility criterion to apply for B.E is to have a score of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in 10+2.

The selection of the candidates for B.E. is based on KCET and COMEDK UGET  scores of the candidates.

 Key Points:

• The minimum age to apply for B.E is 17 years.
• A relaxation of 5% in the aggregated score is awarded to candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC and other minor categories.
• Special seats are reserved for candidates belonging to reserved categories like Karnataka bonafide, NCC; Sports; Scouts and Guides; Defence; Ex-defence; Physically Handicapped; Anglo-Indian; Central Armed Police Force; Ex-Central Armed Police Force.  
• The candidate must have passed 10+2 before the last date of submitting the application form.
• There is no minimum mark fixed for entrance test result, allowing all the candidates to find a place in the merit list.
• The total intake in B.E. course is 420 candidates in all specializations.

KS Institute of Technology offers M.Tech in 3 disciplines of Engineering and Technology. The minimum eligibility criterion to take admission in M.Tech is to have secured a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and technology or relevant subjects with minimum 50% marks.

The final selection of candidates in M.Tech is based on GATE score and performance of the candidates in GD and interview.

• Candidates are also enrolled on management quota based on the percentage of marks/ merit.

• The candidates in the final year of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Math, Science, Statistics and Computer Applications are also eligible for GATE entrance exam.
