Bahra Faculty of Engineering & Technology Admission 2023: B.Tech. Admissions, Application process

Bahra Faculty of Engineering & Technology provides undergraduate level courses in the field of Engineering and Technology. The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program is offered under various specializations like, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The courses offered are for four years. The number of seats depend upon the nature of specializations as opted by the candidates.

Admission in the B.Tech program is done on the basis of marks scored in JEE Main followed by a counselling round. Candidates who have obtained the minimum required marks in their last qualifying examination are eligible to apply for B.Tech courses in Bahra Institute of Engineering and Technology. Candidates unable to meet the eligibility criteria will lead to elimination from the admission process.

For the students belonging to Punjab, Punjab Technical University gives admission through PTU Central Counselling based on JEE Main ranks.

At postgraduate level, Bahra Faculty of Engineering & Technology offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree programs in various specializations like Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. The courses offered are for a duration of two years. The total number of seats available for admission is 18 for each specializations.

Candidates who have studied and passed Graduation level (B.Tech/ B.Sc) in relevant discipline are eligible to apply for the above mentioned courses in this college. In case, candidates fail to meet the eligibility criteria will be eliminated from the admission process.

Admission to the postgraduate Engineering program is done on the basis of merit in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). Final selection is done based on the performance in the personal interview round conducted by PTU.
