Key Points to remember for UG (Honours) Admission:

For BA Honours course, the aggregate marks are calculated adding the marks of best four subjects and the concerned subject and dividing it by 5.
In case of B.Sc. Honours (Zoology/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Geography/ Microbiology/ Computer Science), the aggregate mark is calculated by adding the score of best four subjects with two concerned subjects and the total is divided by 6.
For B.Sc. Honours (Geography and Chemistry), aggregate marks is calculated by summing the marks of best four subjects and the marks of the concerned subject (Geography/ Chemistry) and dividing the total by 5.
The aggregate marks for B.Com Honours course is calculated by adding the score of best four subjects and marks obtained in Accountancy/ Mathematics divided by 5.

Candidates may apply for admission to BA/ B.Sc. / B.Com (General) course of 3 years duration. Each subject combination has the intake of 25 excluding BA General with intake of 170 and B.Com General has the intake of 60 students.

Those who have passed 10+2/ HSC from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent State/ National Board of Education in any relevant subject are eligible to get admission in the course.

Key Points to remember for UG (General) Admission:

The calculation of aggregate marks for B.Sc. General (Computer Science) and B.Sc. General (without Computer Science) is done by adding the marks of best four subjects divided by 4.
Similarly, the aggregate marks of B.Sc. General (Bio-Science) course is calculated by adding the marks of best four subjects, Chemistry & Biology and dividing the total by 6.
