Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Noida Admission 2023: Entrance Exam, Scholarship

Noida campus of Amity Institute of Biotechnology offers four-year B.Tech and five-year B.Tech + M.Tech (dual degree) in various disciplines. Minimum Eligibility for admission is HSC with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in PCB/ PCM subjects. Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech courses have to appear for JEE Main/ Amity JEE entrance exam.

Amity JEE entrance exam consists of 4 sections namely General English (15 questions), Physics and Chemistry (25 questions each) and Mathematics/ Biology (25 questions). Four marks would be awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

• 5% relaxation is qualifying percentage criteria is given to sponsor and SC/ST candidates.
• Only those candidates who have done HSC in regular mode are eligible for B.Tech program.

The institute offers B.Sc course at Undergraduate level in three specializations. Candidates applying should have passed HSC by securing at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Direct admission is also granted, student securing 80% + aggregate in Class XII are exempted from selection process. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Amity University, Noida offers M.Tech and M.Sc. courses in two disciplines. Candidates applying for M.Sc course must have passed B.Sc in relevant discipline. Applicants of M.Tech programs candidates must have passed HSC (10+2) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 60% marks and must have passed graduation in relevant stream.

Admission to M.Tech program is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the University. Selections to M.Sc are based on the merit list of the qualifying exam/ University exam and interview.

The college offers MBA course in Bio technology Management. Minimum eligibility for admission to MBA course is graduation in any discipline with 50% marks.

MBA applicant should have cleared any of CAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ XAT University level exam.

The college offers Ph.D. programs twice a year, for January and July sessions. Ph.D. program is offered in two modes- Full time and Part time. Postgraduates in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

Selection to the Ph.D. courses is based on Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) (conducted by the University). PET entrance exam is of one and half hour duration (i.e. 90 minutes). The exam consists of 70 marks consisting of 95 objective types of questions. The Entrance Test will have two Sections - General, Program Specific.
